I can't believe how many times I have walked past this plate (on many different Peugeots) over the years, but I don't think I've ever taken a photo of it! I remember it as a child, thinking it was cool outside the French embassy - not knowing at that age that embassies had special issues...

I think you might be right, although I have an array of Peugeots in my memory mostly. I seem to recall a Renault Laguna once, but I don't think it stayed long... Being generally "ordinary" cars I never really payed too much attention to them (my loss evidently as I never thought I would be having a conversation about them!)
