Nice !!! I heard there are lots of interesting places in the U.K. ! As America's Mother Country, I find it a fascinating place ! Even more so hearing about it from my brother !

They are parking regulations - the double yellow lines mean no parking at any time, but waiting to load/drop-off passengers or cargo is permitted. Double red lines mean no stopping at any time (not applied to licensed taxis) including loading.
