My brother bought one of these when it was just a year old. 6 months later, the OEM 'bodykit' and spoiler started to fall off. He sold it about a week afterward. Turns out that Rover/MG would stick the bodykit and spoiler to the car using double-sided tape at the production line. Sums up how MG/Rover was run in the early 2000's

It's not a good idea at all, but MG/Rover didn't have much money since the 1990's, so cost-cutting was rife throughout production of their vehicles.
