GTRJacko Lovely Scenery. What was you doing up in Scotland?
Aye it's gorgeous up there! I was doing another cycling tour - a route called the North Coast 500, but unfortunately the ride was cut short by Doris - although it wasn't that unfortunate, as it meant I could sit in a Scottish pub drinking great local gin and watching the rugby for a few days
The next cycling trip is a long one: Trondheim to Athens (plenty of spotting opportunity!), but there are a few things I need to sort out, and the trip is in May/June, so it's a little up in the air as to whether or not I have time to go... fingers crossed
Ahhh that's cool. It's a shame that Doris (which is the least intimidating name for a storm ever in my opinion) stopped your ride, but at least you earned a break from it. Doris didn't do too much carnage in Yorkshire, though that said, the Vale of York doesn't get much interesting weather (it hardly snows whereas places like the North Yorkshire Moors and a few miles north of Leeds get's a lot of it, we just get rain, drizzle and more rain). I hope you get to do that inter-continental ride later this year, will be interesting to see what you can spot
