I know of a white Chrysler Town&Country with a very faded MI plate. I haven't seen it up close, but there's basically nothing left of the plate. The only way I knew it was from Michigan was the fact that there was a Chevrolet Traverse from Michigan parked beside it (plus some other evidence, of course). I hope I spot it, because it's crazy to see a plate that faded still on the road.

One plate that I've commonly seen that isn't technically "faded", but is in terrible condition is NY plates. The 3M sheeting on those plates just peels off due to salt etc. and youre left with a bare metal plate.

Yeah, those yellow plates have terrible sheeting issues. I've seen one that was starting to get pretty bad, but it moved here before the plate could get any worse. The yellow was pretty faded, and there were even a couple of places where the sheeting had just flaked off.
