That's a cool little thing, I never knew this - apparently, the number "5" stands for the number of doors.

Yes! and the second number stands for the amount of cylinders. So a Volvo 242 is the 200 body style, 4 cylinder, coupe. A 965 is a 900 body style, 6 cylinder, wagon
