Thank you for this info! I meant to say late 90s to early 2000s, and I thought this because the progression on Licenseplates.cc cuts off at #####-JS. Love seeing these older New York plates around here

I also like seeing the older NY's here, both because they are getting less common and they are a bit nostalgic because I grew up not far from NY and saw these plates a lot growing up

Understandable! I can't recall seeing any of these when I was younger, but that's just because I didn't pay attention to plates back then. The design of the plates is just really nice to look at, too.
