1997 Suzuki Sidekick Sport JLX

My friends new Sidekick we picked up yesterday!

He liked my Sidekick (left, MA: 1PSL 15) so much, that he wanted one for himself! So we drove 140 miles to Bridgeport, CT to go buy one!

These are the plates the seller provided, but it will soon be registered to MA plates. I will edit this post and mention the MA registration when it happens.

If it's no secret, how much does a 25-year-old Suzuki cost, and what's the mileage?

We purchased it for $2500 USD (92300 UAH). It has some issues, most of which we fixed today. The driver side door did not open from the inside, and the trunk did not open at all  The shifter is very loose and it is sometimes hard to find gears, but they are all there. It has about 168,000 miles (270,000km). Because of the mileage, and the weather conditions here in the winter, the underside is very rusty unfortunately, but we will see how it progresses.

But for $2,500 USD, it runs, drives, and shifts with 168,000 miles. Not too bad :thumbs up:

This is good. I don't know if repairs are expensive in the US. In Ukraine, a car service does not like old cars. But there are many small workshops that service old cars for relatively little money.

It is the same here. Many shops will only service new vehicles, and parts are difficult to find. Often leaves us to fix our own vehicles when they have issues, which is okay with me :)
