Fun fact, the town of Derby was split by the US/Canada border which resulted in roads being cut in half, crossing at customs to go to the other side of town, and even the town library sits perfectly on the border, with half in Canada, and half in the US! You can even see the Ford Explorer border patrol car in the background.

I've been in the white apartment building next to the border patrol station in Derby and we were allowed to go in but not allowed to be in the backyard as the backyard was basically Quebec. Eventually they closed the building cause they feared some of the residents were illegally letting people cross over illegally through their back windows and such.

I used to live there for a year or so! This sadly was before I even knew Platesmania existed but yes it was an epic spotting place.
