A space is the absence of a symbol, therefore 3 symbols

Technically, the two first symbols in an Idaho plates will always be there, like Wyoming, so when they get the vanity they can’t help it.

If this isn’t #OneSymbol, then neither is your recent Wyoming spot. We have had this discussion before, and again, you are coming up light. Static elements of the plate, such as county code prefixes, do NOT count as symbols. They have NEVER counted as symbols in the North American galleries, as this is the standard used for 1.) Massachusetts specialty tags, 2.) county plates like the one you posted yourself, and 3.) even RV and PC tags in Delaware. You can’t cherrypick what is and isn’t #OneSymbol based on what you think is appropriate. Just drop it, be positive, and enjoy this neat #OneSymbol spot. :drink:

I think this should be #ThreeSymbols because in Idaho vanity plates do not have county codes, whereas in Wyoming they do

If this is a vanity plate then why is it under XXX XXXXX which is the regular plate format?

This isn't a vanity plate I'm saying in general this isn't 1 symbol because you could get just 5 as a vanity in Idaho, whereas in Wyoming if you get G as a vanity it will always have the county code in addition.

Yea I thought this was standard issue. So #OneSymbol all day long.

ID# 5 is one symbol
ID# 7C 5 is three

we originally allowed WY to have #OneSymbol with county codes because it is impossible to get a vanity without a county code there

I don’t think the ability to get a vanity without county codes in Idaho means that a low registration with a county code isn’t #OneSymbol personally. But what would I know. In my opinion, if county codes don’t count in Wyoming then they don’t count at all.

Also wild to say this given you've been on the site the least out of all of us. It has ALWAYS been the case that Idaho county codes are included in the symbol count.

Then I stand corrected on Idaho alone, although I personally think this should be #OneSymbol. I guess my opinion matters less since I haven't been here as long

Sorry, my point is that the rules have never been identical for each state due to different plate systems. I just got a little tilted when you said it's never been like that when it has been the whole time and since before you joined.

That's fair, because I was totally wrong. I'm quite tilted that a certain someone likes to cry when he disagrees with plate systems and symbol counts he doesn't like.
