Can't see a dog when you're that low to the ground ! Put your beast on a LEASH if you're that concerned for them ! Don't let them roam around freely like in say Wyroaming ! 
Other than that it's just an issue about painting the stainless steel famed vehicle... Hey it's their choice, it looks good. Don't worry about it so much, cuz many others just like your complaining selves WILL NOT PAINT IT ! That's my Editorial for Today !
