The Chinese gallery went years without consistent moderator oversight.
It’s understandable that some users don’t know the rules, no one enforced them or explained them.
Now that a moderator is stepping in, it may feel disruptive.
But reviewing large numbers of images and checking them against site guidelines isn’t easy work.
After just a single day of organizing the Chinese gallery, I received two threatening messages from users.
So yes, I understand what aaropika is talking about.
The Chinese gallery community should know that these actions happen across all galleries to keep things orderly and make the site more enjoyable for everyone. It’s not easy, and it’s done for your benefit.
If you believe a moderator has made a mistake, please reach out to them privately first.
If that doesn’t lead to a resolution, you can escalate in the forum “Court” section.
The Chinese gallery is short on moderators - especially Chinese speakers.

Well, I don't want to incite conflict; I simply want to clarify that the complaints from Chinese users aren't simply about rule violations, but rather the unfairness of being specifically targeted in Chinese galleries when the same rules are ignored in other galleries. For example, the rule against "illegal double spots" is completely ignored in other countries (especially Russian galleries) (e.g., https://platesmania.com/ru/nomer30090676,
https://platesmania.com/ru/nomer24665098,
https://platesmania.com/ru/nomer30055833,
https://platesmania.com/ru/nomer30081156,
https://platesmania.com/mc/nomer29644098, etc.).
Similarly, issues like blurred faces and incomplete vehicles are not removed in galleries in other countries, but the large-scale removal of images in Chinese galleries (especially recently) has sparked anger among Chinese users who feel this is unfair.
Furthermore, Chinese galleries lack a moderator, which means that fake license plates like https://platesmania.com/cn/nomer12347194 have remained unremoved despite multiple reports. Adding local moderators to Chinese galleries is also essential.
However, the biggest issue lies in the fairness of the rules. Allowing inappropriate photos from galleries in other countries while imposing strict restrictions on Chinese galleries has angered Chinese users.
