Are you perhaps socialist or nostalgic of Czechoslovakia ? If yes, I'm agree with you,I am nostalgic of socialism (and I hate European Union and USA).I like retro parties which remember us the good times of socialism in Eastern Europe.I don't know if there are 1st May celebrations in Poland so I will look for such celebrations.

Umm... well... I think Poland is better with European Union and without Socialism (well, at least as it was practised) today, but that's just my little opinion....

Of course I totally respect your opinion,I'm a democrat.But I don't think Poland is better with European Union.There is no work,the young people has flewed to West (Germany and UK especially),the cost of the life is much more expensive than in 2003 (before EU),our citizens work in low-paid jobs abroad,usw... .So I want Poland to get out from EU and to join Russia's sphere of influence and be more independent than now (we are slaves of EU like all eastern european countries in the EU).With Socialism everybody had a job (<1 % unemployement).Now many persons live with a few of money and there is more alcoholism.People die younger.Unemployment is terrible (30.Moreover now the government want to introduce €uro in Poland.But I understand your opinion : in some countries like Germany EU works well.I love very very hard Poland my country and when I come back to Poland on holidays (I live in France) I just want to cry when I see that there are only problems.Socialism was not so bad as you can believe : in Western countries in history they tell us that Socialism and Ostblock countries and USSR were hell.It is false.Don't be naive and don't believe everything in Western propganda.

USA and american culture are flooding us and they are killing our slavic and eastern european culture and mentality (like with gay wedding for exemple).But I respect your opinion.

As I respect yours, of course. Undeniably, socialism had positive aspects (as you pointed out) but some Socialist states were in fact cruel regimes. I especially think of the GDR here. Also I dislike Czechoslovakia, the government forced my family to become refugees just because they weren't Czech. (Don't get me wrong, Germany had comitted many mistakes before and CZ and SK are beautiful countries with open-hearted and nice people!)
But I suggest we won't argue about politics so much, everybody has his choice in the common European Elections. I only hope parties like Jobbik or the Front National don't get so many votes....

Unfortunately,I think that Front National will win these elections because in France the situation is hard cause the president is comletely uncompetent and they already scored 19% at the presidential elections.So now,what will be will be !
