Imported in october 2013
Aarhus, Denmark, may 2015 at the classic car park of the 2015 CRAA car show.
Renault's Juvaquatre model was introduced way back in 1937 as a sedan. After the war, production restarted and the van and wagon versions were added as Juvaquatre Break. The sedan versions didn't last long after the war, as they were replaced by the new 4CV, but the body style of 4CV was not well suited for a van/wagon conversion, so the Juvaquatre remained in production for these types, but since the end of 1953 it was equipped with the new engine from 4CV. In 1956, the engine changed again, this time to the 845 cc motor from the new Dauphine sedan, this also led to a change of model name to Dauphinoise.
The model was retired in 1960 and replaced by the new R4 Van.
