Your truck spots

Thank you     Been really enjoying truck-spotting a lot more now, after having a break from the highway-spotting :D

Company is Hirtshals Godstransport. With that location, the town of the ferries to Norway, it makes sense for them to mainly operate in that direction, which probably also explains why I (being further south) have never spotted any of their trucks.

Thank you for info :thumbs up: I'm still hopeful we can get a double spot sooner or later :D :drink: Out of the nordics, the Danish trucks are definitely my favorite ones to spot with often really nice liveries and personalized decoration

Yes, there are some nice liveries in Denmark, but in recent years it's been going downhill with more and more companies going for the minimalistic white look as this one. One reason is the increase in trucks getting rented, rather than purchased by the freight companies, and another is the resell-price...

A DK truck has an average lifespan of just 3 years on Danish roads. After that, they often get exported and many customers prefer a "blank piece of paper" (an unpainted truck), meaning that a truck with a nice livery would often require a repaint before selling, so ironically, if you spend a lot of money on making it look nice, it will be worth less than if you just leave it white.

I see exactly what you mean. Now that i think about it, the "coolest" trucks i see are the local ones, that are probably less likely to be sold off, and have more specialized purposes (logging trucks, machinery transport and even some garbage trucks to an extent).

I still think Denmark leads in terms of cool paintjobs for my spotting area, though the only competitors here would be Baltic trucks and a few Germans, which isn't much to brag about at all. :D
