License plate of Romania, Regular plates

The driver of this particular truck did NOT like me taking this photo!

As soon as I took the photo, he jumped out and stormed towards me, shouting in Romanian. I ask if he speaks English, he screams "WHY YOU TAKE PHOTO?", whilst pushing my shoulder. I walk backwards saying "No problem, no problem", before he walks back and shouts some Romanian insults at me. One of them sounded like he was saying "Marş Afară" or similar.

So to the owner/driver of B 114 DNK, your truck is on the internet now :D

I've not had bad experiences with Romanian truck drivers before. Just because one driver in a Romanian truck got agressive with me, doesn't mean I think all drivers from Romania are like that. In fact, a vast majority of interactions I've had with Romanian truck drivers in this particular parking area have been very positive :)

I've had my fair share of experiences with fierce Roma, but this is probably a tougher encountering you had. Hope your okay and wish great and safe spotting! :drink:

Thank you! :D Over the years I've had some bad reactions from me spotting, but the positive reactions massively outweigh the negative reactions. I don't let the negativity get to me though, no point dwelling on it, just carrying on with spotting as usual!

Such drivers... If they can't stand the facts, then they shouldn't drove to plate spotters's areas... I bet those wanted an attention, all I can say.

Why would they be aware about where plate spotters go though

this is a silly argument you're tryna construct here. a guy taking pics of cars/buses/lorries/trains/whatever could be virtually anywhere. you really have no clue of their location. PLUS, i hate to be the devil's advocate here, but for people like this lorry driver (who acted like a total boor, no doubt about it) think they're being photographed for bad reasons. i've sadly had my fair share of bad moments with people thinking its somehow illegal when taking pics of vehicles in the past. guess they've never heard of something called the public domain...

It is not an arguement. I'm just answered Myers's answer here.

You will never know how the driver of car/truck/bus (or something else) will react. And the Unfriendly drivers like in this one, he must have wanted attention. So there's a chance of 50-50 to be either Friendly or Unfriendly. That's all I can give out.
